Well Mikeys team, the Meridian Bobcats put it on the Egyptian Pharaohs  in the South Egyptian Conference Tournament  Championship game held at Shawnee College on Saturday night,man what a game! I dont even care much for stick and ball sports but I love watching Mikey and the Meridian BOBCATS,good stuff! Cant hold a candle to racing for me though! We all gathered at our Daughters house for Christmas. Naties treatment was put off till afterwards this year. First real Christmas we've had since her diagnosis two years ago. What a wonderful time we all had.  Counting down her treatments (two to go).

]]>Mon, 2 Jan 2012 15:40:09 GMT<![CDATA[Shout Box]]> Merry Christmas everyone!  Our Christmas was going to be kind of lean this year, I had managed to get a coloring book and some markers and candy canes for the Grandkids and we had gotten up and got ready to go to my daughters house about 8:30 Christmas morning, when what to my surprise, there was a thump at the door, upon opening the door, there was toys filling the porch to the point I could barely open the door! My wife and I were speechless till I said,"Santa is alive and well and has visited our house!"  Wow, we couldnt believe it, there were plenty of toys for each Grandkid, just like as if we, or they had picked them themselves, it was amazing, only Santa could have performed such a feat. Thank you Santa from all of us , we had a very Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The man pours his hart and soul into the cart every weak to keep us going. I had my own cart and couldn't afford it.  I know not many people are as fortunate. My fiance  is my pit crew  does a hell of a job also, tires, load, unloads etc. As far as the track, Mikes and the team are doing what they can with what they got. People should just be happy that we got somewhere to run. That's about all i got to say bout that. C'yall next weak lets run em till the wheels fall off.

Another factor might be..some people might not like racing at a track with NO medical services on hand....I perfectly understand the point Mike made at the drivers meeting of the rise in cost of the ambulance service...but this might be another factor in the LOW kart count...another might just be the $$$$'s people have in their pockets to race with, compared to last year....PRICES have gone UP on everything in our daily  lives.....Us as racers NEED to do all we can to HELP, Mike, Roy & the State Pond Speedway staff to survive so we CAN have a good...GOOD place to race.....Maybe the racers need to have a little track meeting  to see if anyone has any ideas to improve kart count & etc,
The racers need to remember.......the racer is WHY State Pond is there.......

i agree u put the animals in their own class which is good but for 2 years we wanted a ohv stock appearing mods class which means STOCK LOOKING ON THE OUTSIDE. if ur able to run tillys then i got a filling their will b very few in that class and if there is only 1 clone stock apearing like at the end of last year THEN U GET NO POINTS.  2 animals and one clone running every week. if ur gonna let tillys run on the clone mod class thats honestly not wat we hav ask for the last 2 years. Well it depends what day it is. im not the healthiest guy around but i seem to tell myself i am. im 39 yrs old ive had cancer twice taken from me. alot of people hav cancer in this world. i personally and the doctors dont know wats going on either. seeing some good doctors and going to stl for test thurs. im the same fat guy whether im sick or healthy. i appriecate every bodys concerns but im very stubborn and what ever is wrong with me i will beat and i will be back on the track to get me some. for me its about family and fun and win lose or draw i will have fun. i have 3 kids 1 grandbaby 1 father 2sisters thats it. the folks at the track from the official that seemed to blackflagged me    gary   mikes son    i still consider sps my home and family. all prayers are welcome but  im the same guy that doesnt feel very good. i do have 2 ?s    jeffery run rookie last year only raced 15 or so times IF we being me is able to race with him can he race in rookie and with no exceptions does that means stock muffler no timing advancing.  i hope i cleered a little up about me. mike hope ur doing ok and praying for you always. depending on my health i hope to c u guys at the track soon. thanks to all

I guess I came out ok on my procedure and I had it done in the  knick of time, On a scale of 1-10 the tests came back 8 and 9 of being pre-cancerous. I have tro go back in 6 months and have them take another look!  Well time is moving on and its February already and gokart season is fast approaching. Hows the rules meetings going? ]]>Sun, 23 Jan 2011 21:06:21 GMT<![CDATA[Shout Box]]> just wandering if the ohv 6.5 horse stock appearing will truely be stock appearing no tillys and no animals this year. any modifications done to inside possible but must remain stock appearing carb n motor and run any fuel. another ? is my son only run about 12 or 15 times in rookie class and will he still b able to run the rookie class again. he does not wqnt to move up to the faster jr. stock class. hopefully we both will get to race only time will tell. lets all remember mr.mike and everybody else who is having a tough time right now including me. god bless and lets all hope for the best for 2011

hoping everyone is off to a great start to the new year                 hoping  mr.mike is doing alot better after his surgery. i personaly has had a little bit of bad luck and hoping that i will get to race in 2011 but my health has went down hill and as of now im cherishing everyday i wake up. well enough of me , hope every body is doing good n getting ready. if by chance im not here very long it has pleasure meeting some great people. miracles do happen god bless and please remember we dont have the promise of tmrw so live today.

i no its not abig deal but when is the plates gonna be done for ohv stock heavy class from the fair 4 months ago is gonna be done. i can go to howards in cape and they do it right there about 10 min. were the only class that didnt have them. whats the deal? are they coming from russia or something. its getting kinda rediculous now. please can someone answer besides were working on it like i have been told many times. thanks.  casey congrats on ur race.
