At this time I would like a address a couple things in the Clone classes.....

I think that the stated  rule of the clone classes having to run the Stock flywheel needs to be changed. My reasoning for this is a safety issuse that has become a BIG concern of the racers, kart owners, and promoters across the country.....Some of you may or may not have heard of instants were the STOCK  flywheels explode. The clone motor was made to run 3600 RPM with the stock flywheel, NOT 5000 plus RPM. By letting any and all Clone motored karts run the billet after market flywheel just means SAFER racing for all....The after market flywheel has NO advantage over the stock flywheel other than being a SAFER unit to run........I know...I KNOW, the racers at State Pond haven't seen one explode YET.....BUT when and IF one does...everyone THEN will take notice when there is the very chance of someone getting hurt.

The other rule I would like to see OPENED UP........is the header/muffler rule on the Clone classes.

Just let everyone run what they ALREADY have or they think is best for them........short......long....pretzel.......whatever .
